I need to update my USB port drivers on Windows XP but all the fruitful links I've seen lead me to programs where you get a free driver scan but have to pay for the updates. Where can I update my drivers for free?
Any updates for the USB ports should have comexp driver updates through the normal Windows update process.
To do this specifically for the ports go to Device Manager, open the USB device section and start updating the drivers for each device it finds. (right click - Properties > Driver > Update Driver...)
Check the coxp driver updatesmputer maker or mainboard maker's website.
No real reason why you'd need USB port drivers that I can think of. Perhaps you should clarify.
