Yes you have to download it, but the program itself is virus free and I press preview before it completly downloads and if there's nothing I cancel right away. I've used it for 2 months now and haven't gotten a virus from it, have good anti-vfree mp3 download sitesirus program just in case though.

What IS IT with you FREELOADERS? Most music of today is COPYRIGHTED and you have to BUY IT.. just like everyone else.. you can't STEAL IT for FREE on the internet NOR SHARE IT FOR FREE... wow.. what a concept... you have to PAY for someone else's work and intellectual property! There is a bit of an ad before each song starts but then you can listen to the whole song as many times as you like.
