My LimeWire cannot connect for some reason, and my firewall is off. If you can't help me with that, can you please list some ways that I can download free music on my iPod (NOT mp3)

First off never use limewire or any other p2p site. 2nd why not put mp3s on your ipod? I do and it works great! The absolute best website where you don't have to input any personal info or download any software is www.mp3raid.com. Just make sure that you listen to the song first and after you click download right click on download the song and click save as. Also make sure it is in mp3 format if it isn't type .mp3 right after the file name and voila! I have used it hundreds of times to burn cds and add to my ipod touch. works fantastic.

There are many other P2P software such as Ares that work just like Limewire. However, I am pretty sure the only free way is through these programs and itunes/music converters can convert your mp3 files
