i accidentally deleted the soundmax from my computer because it didnt look important. i have windows xp and my computer is dell. i cant find the cd for the computer because i think my mom threw it out. plz help me. i need a website for a free download of soundmax becaus i can't hear anythfree soundmax downloading from the computer.
If you go to the Dell support website they have every single bit of driver for your model for download.
The "SoundMax" stuff was the driver and utilities for your sound card(probably the one embedded on your motherboard). You will want to go to Dell's site in free soundmax downloadthe support and downloads area ( and use the tool to find your hardware either by model number or tag#. then get the one that is labeled as sound drivers. If there isn't a separate one for sound, there will be one that says it is the "motherboard" drivers.
