b) we've been (quite rightly) called the 'lucky generation' because
-our parents bore the burdens of the late tthirty's and forty;s depressions and world wars when we were too young to realsie just how awful the world was when we were little kids; ;
-list would you rather our adolescence was spent just as we became the first generation to have cash in our pockets to spend on ourselves and that put us right in the middle of the development of rock and roll
- the education system opened up and many more of us from various class had the opportuntiy to go to higher education; not only without fees but being given allowancelist would you rathers as well.
-.we avoided recruitment into the Korean Vietnam, Iraq and the Afghanistan wars
- user friendly contraception became much easier and widespread in our late teens and
early twenties
