The error was made in my question about what the name of the song about running into a past lover years later was called--Same Old Lang Syne--and one person said the "yesterday" from when I asked the question (I asked it on Tuesday, 12/18, so he was referring to Monday), and then where I repeated that was in my added details. But the news story I read later said that Dan actually passed on Sunday.
This (Same Old Lang Syne) is the only song of Dan's that I got familiar with, if I remdan fogelberg newsember right.)

"Same old lang syne" is my favorite song. When I listen to that song, I wish I could bump into my ex friends back at high school years.
